Carnagill Community Primary School wants all children to be safe and secure in school. We follow the North Yorkshire Safeguarding Children Board procedures.  The school will, in most circumstances, endeavour to discuss all concerns with parents about their child/ren.  However, there may be exceptional circumstances when the school will discuss concerns with Social Care and/or the Police without parental knowledge (in accordance with Child Protection procedures).  We aim to maintain a positive relationship with all parents.

The Child Protection Policy is available within the Polices Section of the Website.

Mrs Newport and Mrs Shaw are the Designated Senior Persons for safeguarding.

If you have any concerns about the safety and well being of a child please contact either of them on 01748 833622.

Below are some links which parents might find useful to support the work we do in school at home.

Our Computing Leader is Mr Atkinson.  If you need any advice about safe use of ICT equipment at home please contact Mr Atkinson via the school office.
